A parking pass is required to "drive" into the park, but it is free to park outside and walk in. If you choose to drive in, which is easier, a daily pass is $15 and a yearly pass is just $40 or $35 for 2 or more ( best buy). It is a lovely place for fitness, family fun, and weekend entertainment. 

You will need to bring:

Your fitness mat.

Your fitness ball.

Comfortable shoes.

Well-fitted, non-cumbersome clothes.

An attitude that spews you know that you are about to be leaner and more fit going into the next week.

We will meet at the Confederate Memorial Museum. Right outside, near the benches. In addition to the workout, the museum shows free 15 minute movies. I encourage every visitor to check out at least one to increase his awareness of Georgia history. So come and plan to stay for a while.

Here is how you get there. If you know another way, by all means, go for it:

From Hwy 78 Towards Stonemountain/Athens, take the park entrance exit, keep straight. Bear off to the right. Go about 1 mile. You will pass the downtown entrance gate on your right. There is a stop sign. I believe the only stop sign you will pass upon entering. After passing the entrance, you will see the "back" of the building to your left. Turn left into the very next parking lot. Meet us in front of the building.

From downtown Stonemountain, you will keep straight through the gate, bear right at the intersection. The museum will be on the left. Turn left into the first parking lot and meet us in front of the building.
